We have kept a little report about Cooks for Books, our fantastic school event, for this holiday season, as both of them have something to do with cookies and stories. Don't you agree? Holidays are always filled with delicious food we share with out loved ones, and a lot of time is spent watching Christmas movies, sharing family stories, reading some picture books under warm blankets, and when we get back from the break - we have so many stories to tell each other!

Our Cooks for Books event is organised at school every November. We all gather at school, along with our parents and carers, with some delicacies (mostly sweet, but also salty) which are then sold to collect money for our school library and book collections. The idea is actually to be little entrepreneurs, because we learn how to market our products, what to charge for them, how to behave if we want to attract buying customers, how to work as a team, how to manage in unpredictable conditions... And how to have fun!

Right now, our pupils and teachers are in the process of assembling lists of books which they would like to order from our book suppliers, and after the order is placed - we wait. Once the books arrive, they will be displayed for all to see, and then taken to our school library to be officially labelled. After that we will be able to borrow them for classroom or home use.

But right now, during the holidays, we would like to share with you some short interviews done with you all during the Cooks for Books event. This was the first time some of us actually acted in our capacity as newsletter members! These are only the most common answers collected by our team...
