ITALY & YEAR 6
Our Year 6 had two Italian encounters this year. Just before the winter break they had some Italian visitors in their class (check it out here: PARLI ITALIANO? ), and last week they had the chance to go to Italy. This is what they had to say about it... Where did you go, when and who accompanied you? We went to a primary school in Assisi, Italy. Every day after school we went to some parts of Italy with Ms Grgić and Mr Necmeskal. it was really fun and we ate different foods,

OUR FANTASTIC TRIO
Do you know what holds you up right on your feet? You might think it’s gravity but it’s your bones, muscles and cartilage. This trio works together all the time. Today I am going to explain you what is a bone made of, what happens when you break one, how many bones you have, what cartilage is for and why the muscles are super important. The “3I” in its name stands for this fact. The first two were “1I/ Oumuamua,” which was discovered in 2017, and “2I/Borisov,” which was discovered in 2019. One of the coolest things about 3I/ATLAS is what it

THE BIGGEST BIRD?
When most people think of dinosaurs, they imagine giant reptiles like T-Rex or Triceratops. But what surprised me during my research is that dinosaurs never actually went extinct, at least not completely. Scientists say that modern birds are the direct descendants of a group of dinosaurs called Theropods, which were two-legged carnivorous dinosaurs. Fossils of species like Archaeopteryx clearly show both dinosaur and bird features like feathers, claws, and long bony tails. T

Here is what Year 3 had to say about it: My favourite part of the trip when we were making clay art because it was fun and we got to choose the animal M.
