Last Friday Bright Horizons International British School had its annual Sports Day. School houses (Jupiter, Mercury, Saturn and Neptune) had a chance to compete against each other in many exciting sports activities. Among the most interesting disciplines were – egg on a spoon, sitting volleyball and, of course, football and basketball. The competition took place both indoors and outdoors.
The most exciting competition during the Sports Day was making and performing your own team dance. Each house really took it on another level.
The rivalry was ferocious, emotions ran high. Each house tried to show its best and grab the victory. Pupils were even taking bets on which house would win the competition. There were also tears, nerves, friendly cheering and, of course, a fierce contest.
The winner would get to play dodgeball against the teachers. And this year Saturn won, again.
We congratulate them sincerely and hope that next year competition will be as fun, challenging and exciting as this year’s.
P.S. Just so you know, other houses wouldn’t mind winning, too. So, please, Saturn, hold your houses a tiny bit next year.
