Ski trip, anyone? Well, some of our students went on a week's ski trip with teachers and we asked them to send us their reviews! This is what they had to say about it...
My experience
Skiing for me has always been an experience of excitement and wildness. This year I got the chance to ski with my school. I think that a school ski trip is a very exotic way to mix learning, adventure and socialising.
I went on the trip with an injured ankle, so it was quite a challenge for me, but I had support from my teachers and friends so I managed to pull through. Since I already had a clue of how to ski, I didn't go to the beginners' group, but I definitely did improve and learn some new techniques. As I said, for me, this ski trip was more than just skiing - it was also about developing new abilities, making lifelong experiences with my friends from school and even with some pupils from the high school. Regardless of some minor injuries, everyone felt really safe. The teachers and the ski instructors really made sure no one got injured and would make it back to Zagreb safely. The ski instructors were very funny and, during the ride back, they were even hanging out with us. The weather was very nice while we were skiing, although maybe a bit too sunny. Every night, my friends and I would end up dying of laughter and falling off of our chairs.
The highlight of the trip for me is probably when we got to spend some time in our rooms with our friends. I liked the fact that we got to know better the people we might go to school with next year.
Overall, if I had the chance to repeat this, I definitely would.

My ski trip review
I recently had an amazing ski trip to Krvavec, Slovenia, which took place from 3rd to 7th of March. The trip was a perfect mix of skiing, relaxation, having fun and, of course, a little bit of studying.
Every day started with having breakfast and getting ready for the slopes. Then we had a couple of hours skiing, came back to the hotel, followed by some pool time. After this, we had one hour of studying to keep on track with school and finally - dinner. The hotel we stayed in was pretty good, offering us the pool to unwind after a long day skiing. The food at the hotel was delicious giving us a variety of options to choose from. I shared my room with my friends - E., J. and E., which made my trip even better. Our teachers, Ms Manestar, Ms Rodriguez, Ms Kušanić and Mr Krznar also went on the trip with us. They made sure everything was going smoothly and they were always there to support us if we needed it.
Overall, the trip was unforgettable and filled with fun, learning and great memories.

Ski trip to Krvavec
Our school organised a thrilling trip to Krvavec, one of Slovenia's most popular ski resorts. The trip was filled with fun activities and was one of the most memorable experiences of my 8th grade.
The trip started early in the morning, with lots of excitement when we gathered in front of our school. Afterwards we boarded the bus to Krvavec. The bus ride was long and tiring but it was all worth it because the view of Krvavec's beautiful nature was mesmerising. When the bus ride was over, we immediately went skiing. Skiing was fun and the trainers were friendly. The weather was sunny, but cold - perfect for skiing. After skiing, the bus took us back to the hotel. The hotel was huge and our rooms were cosy and comfortable. I shared the room with my friends, which made the trip a hundred times better. Every day. after skiing, we would relax and have fun in the pool. At 8 pm the delicious food was served.
This 5-day trip was fun and one of the best I've ever had.

School ski trip review
The ski trip took place in Krvavec, Slovenia, and we spent five days there, from the 3rd to the 7th of March. I really enjoyed the school ski trip because I got to have fun and spend quality time with my friends, while still improving my skiing technique.
We were lucky to have plenty of sunshine and great weather throughout the trip, which made for some really nice days on the slopes. However, it was a bit warmer than I expected, so, at times, the snow was either icky in the mornings or quite wet later in the day as it started to melt. The instructors were really fun and helpful. I think I really improved my technique while skiing there. I found everything great, except some minor accidents and injuries which happened. The teachers and instructors really made sure that everyone was okay, safe and having a good time. My favourite part of each day was when we had free time in our rooms and could also visit other people's rooms, because I got closer with some people I don't usually hang out with.
Overall, I really liked and enjoyed the trip and I definitely regret not having gone to it the past three years, because I really missed out.

So, just a heads-up for everyone who is considering it - don't miss out next year!
