LIVIA ON A ROLL!

You may remember us writing about our friend Livia, the amazing young tennis player. (If not, do check it here: LIVING THE TENNIS LIFE .) Well, we really do like keeping up with everyone's progress and there is so much to tell about Livia that we reached out to her parents for more information. Livia didn't stop - she is rocking the world of tennis in her categories! Check it out!

Livia’s Latest Tennis Achievements

Slovakia Fed Cup – Best Under 10 in Slovakia

Livia competed in three tournaments between May and August to qualify for the Slovakia Fed Cup, where she faced some of the country’s top young players — including those ranked #3 and #8 nationally in the under-12 category. The finals took place in Košice, eastern Slovakia, where Livia gave an incredible performance, helping her team reach the finals by winning crucial matches against the top-seeded teams. Despite a narrow loss by just one point, Livia’s determination and team spirit stood out. With only three players on her team (while others had up to seven), Livia carried extra responsibility — playing multiple matches in a single day.

Her coach and family couldn’t be prouder of her endurance, courage, and commitment to her team.

This includes all of us at the Bright Horizons community, too!

Zagreb Open 2025 – Champion

At the Zagreb Open, Livia claimed 1st place, defeating the tournament favourite and Zagreb’s #1 under-10 player, Antea Tomas, with an impressive 4:1, 4:1 victory.

Kinder Joy of Moving International Tournament – Spain

After winning the Croatian qualifier, Livia has been selected as the only Croatian girl under 10 to represent the country at the Kinder Joy International Masters Championships. This prestigious event will take place at the Rafa Nadal Academy in Spain from 3rd to the 9^th November, where Livia will compete against the best under-10 players from around the world — proudly representing Croatia!
