We have some fabulous news to share with you! It's sports, it's exciting and it's just simply - W O W!
Our incredible Year 8 pupil Ena Markota has been elected as a candidate for the Croatian national team in ice hockey for the World Cup U18, which takes place in Zagreb from January 23rd until January 26th. World Cup, people! Can you believe it?
A huge hug and congratulations to Ena and her family who support her on her path. Ena is on the players list and from November 8-10th they played their preparatory tournament in Sarajevo. This winter will be extremely exciting for Ena and we hope we can come and cheer for her to some of the games!
Once more our pupils prove how amazing they can be, not only academically but also in sports! And this combination of Ena and ice is simply fantastic! GO, ENA!
By the way, apart from being an athlete, Ena is also an incredible writer and can spin a story in English to keep you on the edge of your seat! We do hope we persuade her to write a winter story for us about hockey, ice and something mysterious!
