Comments

Ms Lana - The whole class worked as a team to prepare a Christmas Game Night.

Year 8 invited the parents to come and play games such as side switching, taboo and many more. All students hosted 1 or more games and they had a lot of fun preparing for it.

Comments

Ms Anita - Children learned so much about themselves, about each other, about their teachers and about the topics they cover. And they all worked so hard.

Christmas shows are so much more than shows - they are magic!

Christmas shows are a miracle in itself - it always seems so easy-going and cheerful on the surface, yet so much work and time goes into it. However, they are like magical snow globes - they seem lovely and when you flip them and meet the other side, you see how much goes on 'behind the curtains' - children learn so much about themselves, about each other, about their teachers and about the topics they cover. Some children break down some of their personal barriers and perform in front of an audience for the first time, some of them dare to sing or dance, some of them inspire somebody else to step outside their comfort zone and fly! And this new skill, this new feeling stays with you for the rest of your life. Not to mention the fact that your parents and the entire school gets to see it and cheer you on! And then everybody feels wonderful! Christmas shows are so much more than shows - they are magic!

As you can see, all the performances are great and bring lots of Christmas cheer to the school, to students, to teachers and to parents. It's great to see young and older students have fun and enjoy themselves with their friends.

All the teachers are so proud of them and can't wait to see what's next this school year!
