EVENTS GALORE!

Writer: The BZ TeamThe BZ Team

Trying to keep up with all our school events as well as academic obligations can be challenging at times, so we'll just give you a quick run-through of some of the awesome activities we had at Bright Horizons these weeks!

VALENTINE'S DAY - CUTENESS OVERLOAD

Apart from the fact that the school was overflowing in red and pink and kindness, we had our traditional Valentine's Day dance, secret message box and dress up, along with some creative workshops and blushing all day long!

We also interviewed some of our teachers about some Valentine's Day memories!

WHAT'S THE CUTEST GIFT YOU'VE EVER RECEIVED FOR VALENTINE'S DAY?

Sarah Jane K.: Hand written notes all over the house!

Doria P.: Donuts!

Anita K.: A slightly welted bouquet of dandelions! But it came with an adorable smile!

WHAT'S THE BEST EVER LOVE SONG IN YOUR OPINION?

Ana G.: Can't Help Falling in Love

Doria P.: Eric Clapton - Wonderful tonight

Sarah Jane K.: Have I told you lately by Rod Stewart was my first dance song at my wedding.

IF YOU COULD TAKE ONE THING ABOUT VALENTINE'S DAY AND KEEP IT FOR EVERY SINGLE DAY OF THE YEAR, WHAT WOULD IT BE AND WHY?

Sarah Jane K.: The appreciation for others and what they do for us!

Anita K. : Seriously, kindness - we should have that all the time! As for things, I really truly appreciate having more flowers around!

Ana G.: Chocolate on discount!

INTERNATIONAL EVENING - ADULTS ONLY!

Our parents and carers got to hang out with each other and our school staff at the traditional event held by the Bright Horizons community every year. The school was filled with delicious scents and sights of international dishes, a variety of languages, warmth and smiles! It was a chance for our parents to share their culture, life stories and perhaps some details about us...

DIPLOMACY AND BRIGHT HIGH

Our secondary school students attended an extraordinary event where they learnt more about diplomacy, confidence, critical thinking and why presentation skills matter if you want to get your ideas across to people! They made us all proud and just a tad envious that we couldn't all join them at this event! (But our Year 8 is going to join them next year as high-schoolers perhaps!)

PS: More about this event coming soon!
